Back in 2003 I had the good fortune to collect at the Spruce Claim with my friend Bob Jackson, who was then the sole owner.  For 3 days we drilled and blasted the ledge, opening up numerous pockets with quartz and pyrite crystal combinations.  I didn't collect this one, but it was collected by my friend Bruce Woods (witit comes with his label).  The slender quartz crystal is very clear and sharply terminated, and it spears the pyritohedral pyrite crystal in the classic manner.  There is second, partial quartz crystal on one side, but this is still a very fine, very representative specimen.
