This fine specimen features a sharp, nearly perfect pyrite cube perched on a chunk of marl matrix. The cubic pyrite crystal is brilliant and lustrous, with very sharp edges and bright faces, and is 1.7" and from tip-to-tip (1" on the longest edge). The color is the typical brassy gold of pyrite, which contrasts nicely with the creamy tan matrix. All told, this is a nice display specimen of this prized material, with beautiful form, and it is remarkably free of damage.
