This is a fine and good-sized terminated crystal of yellow-golden barite from Cote d'About in France.  The quality is very good and parts of the crystal are gemmy.  One interesting characteristic is that the pyramidal faces are at almost the same angle as a quartz crystal, and come to a single termination, also like a quartz crystal.  I fooled one of my mineral buddies with this piece, which he guessed was citrine until he felt how heavy it is.
