Here is a 2.2", very sharp chocolate brown vesuvianite crystal from Morocco, which is dramatically set in a 4.6" gray-brown matrix. The crystal is 2.2" long, and is double terminated, though one end is partially buried in the matrix. The crystal is very sharply formed, and is complete and undamaged, though there is an "innie" hole in the exposed termination, which is 100% natural, and appears to be there result of weird crystallization.
