The color of this large display specimen os an unusually bright orange with a touch of red that makes it really jump out.  The surface is covered with sharply terminated quartz crystals that are almost all termianted.  The crystals are very sharp, with smooth faces, and the edges are very crisp and well defined. The crystals are mostly transparent, with a bright, shiny luster. The tips of the crystal is sharp and undamaged, and some sport a chisel-tip termination.  No noticeable damage.
