Here is a fantastic, very sharp, double terminated crystal of very gemmy smoky quartz that has some very interesting skeletal pockets.  These are hollow areas inside the crystal where there was not enough quartz available during crystallization to completely fill in the openings. Inside two of these areas, the crystal also boasts 1mm enhydro air bubbles trapped inside water-filled pockets!  There is also one face with raised triangular growth hillocks, which some call record keepers.  This crystal is very nicely formed, and brilliantly lustrous to boot.
