The vesuvianite crystals on this specimen are colored a rich neon green, and they sparkle brightly in the light. The gemmy crystals are sharp and well formed, with good luster.  This is an old time specimen from the collection of one of the miners who lived in Asbestos. Vesuvianite from the Jeffrey Mine has become hard to find since the mine closed in the early 2000s.
