This vanadanite specimen features cardinal red crystals with a very thin dusting of tan endlichite (which is a closely related arsenic-rich mineral) on the back. The vanadanite crystals are brightly lustrous, and each one is formed as a near-perfect six-sided hexagon with exceptionally sharp edges. This specimen is a superb example of this showy mineral, and representative of the top-notch specimens from this locality.
