Here is a gorgeous malachite stalactite featuring deep and varied shades of green and a smooth, naturally shiny finish. Several of the surfaces are black and sparkling, which is from the mineral heterogenite, a cobalt oxy-hydroxide. The color contrast between smooth surfaces and sparkling points of light, make this an excellent stalactite specimen.
