Here is a nice miniature specimen of gemmy, transparent sphalerite, from the Troya Mine, which has been closed since 1993 and is now collapsed and flooded. The piece features complex crystals of sphalerite, with curved faces, on white rhombohedrons of dolomite. The sphalerite has well defined faces and edges, excellent luster and deep reddish orange color. No damage.
