Here is a colorful specimen of spessartine garnet that is nicely covered with exceptionally bright and showy carrot orange crystals.  These have the dodecahedral shape that is common in the 14 members of the garnet family.  Each crystal is sharp and crisply formed, with transparent sides that show off the see-through all gem interiors.  There are a few bits of smoky quartz as well.  There is no damage.
