This siderite specimen is an old-time and superb piece from the historic Connor Pond locality in Ossipee. The crystals are rhombohedral, and are a rich chocolatey brown color. They are set atop white microcline with smoky quartz crystals, and there is also a scattering of small 2 mm octahedral magnetite crystals, which are rare for this area. The piece was collected in 1991 by my friend, the late Joe Laskota, and has been in my collection since that time. Comes with my old label.
