Here is a red quartz specimen from the 2014 find in Morocco that features three generations of crystallization:  On the edges, where crystals are broken, you can see that the red crystals have a clear core.  Then there are the smooth red crystals, and finally a later generation of smaller ones wrapping the second generation red crystals.  There are several 2" crystals on the piece, with sides that are completely covered in the sparkly points.  The ferruginous iron inclusions add a rich red tone that makes it extremely aesthetic in every way.
