This is an excellent specimen of LÖLLINGITE (a species related to arsenopyrite) from the Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Ulanhad League, Inner Mongolia, China. This comes from a new find in April, 2012 at this prolific locality, which has also recently produced world-class crystals of ilvaite, arsenopyrite, hedenbergite, andradite and more. The spear-tip shaped löllingite crystals from this mine are being hailed as best-of-species material.
