This is a specimen of yellow fluorite from an outstanding find at this little-known quarry in the southwest corner of France in 2013. Historically, the fluorite from here is a pale tan, and not terribly attractive. But a find in mid-2013 produced pieces like this with a nice yellow color, razor-sharp crystals, and great flashy luster. The outside edges of the crystals are gray with a touch of purple, so there is some nice phantoming going on, too. This is a fine specimen from this find, with crystals to 1.2", and there is no damage other than on the edge.
