This lovely specimen of prehnite on epidote features 2 botryoidal prehnite balls in a grass-green color set at the base of a dark green (almost black) epidote crystal. The prehnite balls are beautifully formed in softly pillowy mounds, and the epidote is nicely formed. This is a good representative quality specimen from the diggings in Mali, which have been threatened due to the recent political unrest.
