Here is a fine specimen of dioptase from the D.R.Congo, featuring sparkling dark blue-green crystals with a mirror-bright luster.  The crystals, which are gemmy and up to 8mm, stand up out of a good-sized vug, displaying the crystals nicely. This is top quality material from the Tantara Mine, with chrysocolla on the edges to provide contrast.
