The tourmaline crystals on this specimen of cleavelandite, a variety of albite, are colored pink, green and blue. They have grown on the terminated crystals of cleavelandite, which are formed as sharp large crystals - up to about 2". These crystals feature a wide, flattened, bladed appearance and are somewhat gemmy, grading from white to almost clear. There are a few minor dings to some of the cleavelandite, but it is hardly noticeable amongst the extraordinarily beautiful tourmalines and undamaged cleavelandite.
