This is an extremely fine BROOKITE crystal specimen from the Nausherwani Mine in Char Kohan, Kharan, Balochistan, Pakistan. The brookite cluster is nicely set atop a matrix sprinkled with sharp QUARTZ crystals. We acquired this piece from a Pakistani wholesale dealer at the Tucson Coast Gem, Rock & Mineral Show this year. This is a very fine example of this rare crystal habit, and is very good for a matrix specimen.
