Barite specimens from Miraflores have been available since they first appeared on the market around 2008.  The vast majority of the specimens are colored a transparent grayish blue; this piece is remarkable because it is colored a delicate shade of lemon yellow.  The individual barite blades are thin (about 2 mm), and transparent, and they sit up on a tan matrix that is almost entirely covered.
