Here is a very fine specimen of golden barite from the Meikle Mine in Nevada, from the original specimen collecting operation there in 1998-9.  The tabular crystals are very fine and highly lustrous, in a rich golden yellow color. The crystals are set on a thick gray matrix, which is visible between some of the crystals. There is no noticeable damage on this large, rather spectacular cluster
