Here is a fine barite specimen from Spain, found in 2003. The crystals grew in a dendritic formation that looks like intricate branches on a small tree. The crystals are sharply formed, have a matte luster, and are arranged in a delightfully sculptural display. The color is a delicate blue-gray, and there is no damage.
