The Red Cloud Mine has been closed since the early 2000s, so good specimens from this classic American locality are now very hard to find.  This one is a highly representative sample: a matrix specimen with very sharp bright orange-red tabular crystals to 9 mm.  The wet-look luster on these is a knockout (as is thee color), and all but a couple of the crystals are undamaged.
