This fine specimen of rhodochrosite comes from a mine in Peru with one of favorite names - the Uchucchacua mine (pronounced ooo-chuck-cha-coo-ah).  It just rolls off the tongue!  The rhodochrosite crystals cover the inside of a vug in the matrix which is lined with black magnetite that shows up in a few spots.  The dark pink crystals are sharp rhombohedrons, and some are double terminated. No damage.
