The quartz crystals on this specimen stick out in all directions, giving it the look of a bristly porcupine. Virtually all of the crystal have undamaged terminations, and are crystal clear inside. The impression is quite showy, dramatic, and strikingly aesthetic. There is a second generation of smaller crystals growing in the forest of tall crystals, adding to the rich, intricate compelxity of the specimen.
