This is a lovely, large cabinet-sized specimen of prickly "porcupine" quartz from Mundo Nuevo in Peru.  The crystals are all gem clear and sharply formed, with smooth glassy sides and sharp, pristine terminations.  Actually, there is no distracting damage to this highly sculptural specimen with sharp, stick-up crystals.  Also, there is one small huebnerite crystal on the lower side.
