Here is a fine specimen of prehnite, with very rare euhedral crystals to .9". The pseudo-rhombohedral crystal habit is very uncommon, and I've only seen it in specimens from The Jeffrey Mine. The crystals are highly lustrous and translucent, which makes this specimen attractive as well as rare. Now that the mine is closed, there will be no more fine crystals like this except out of old collections.
