"Iron rose" is a term used to describe rounded aggregates of tabular hematite crystals, where the crystals look like the petals of a rose blossom, hence the name (in German, eisenrose). This is an especially fine example, featuring half a dozen flowers, in a metallic silvery gray color. This damage-free specimen is one of the best pieces from the 2015 find in Brazil.
