Here is a lustrous and very fine large specimen of hematite from Morocco. It displays flashy luster and the botryoidal bubbles have good three-dimensional development. The color is a bright silvery black. Pieces of this size and quality have become hard to find recently, perhaps because the mine is no longer operating.
