Here's a large, very sharply formed Brazilian quartz crystal with an excellent chisel-tip termination. The crystal is very slightly smoky, but still fairly transparent. It has a brilliant, flashy luster, and is brilliantly bright and dazzling, especially in the sun. There is a forward-leaning time line face on the crystal, which also has some interesting elestial growth markings and is a bit of a cathedral crystal as well. On one face there is some small calcite growing as sharp bladed crystals. Overall, this is an excellent crystal in a great large size, with a lot of eye appeal.

Here's a breathtaking CLEAR QUARTZ crystal from Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The quartz is bright and very clear, with a sharp chisel-tip termination. This is another new treasure which we picked out from one of the Brazilian wholesale dealers who set up at the Tucson Gem, Rock & Mineral Show.
