This specimen of mushroom tourmaline features  a 15 mm rounded mushroom-like crystal with the characteristic botryoidal shape that made this locality famous. The color of the tourmaline is a luscious, gemmy raspberry pink. What makes this specimen special is that there is a trigonal termination growing on top of the mushroom crystal, sticking up about 6 mm; something I have never seen before. This is a very attractive and high quality specimen of this very rare form of tourmaline.
