This is a very fine example of amethyst from the recently discovered Baobob Mine occurrence in Kenya. This specimen features some elestial growth, some double terminated crystals, and a lovely lavender purple color near the sharp crystal terminations.  The crystal is somewhat gemmy, and highly lustrous.
