The ultra-saturated purple color of this matrix specimen of amethyst from Uruguay is very appealing. The color and sharp crystals which straight stick up make this a very fine specimen of Uruguayan amethyst. The terminations are not dinged, and there is no damage to the crystals, other than a few around the edges.  This piece displays really nicely on a 3-peg stand, or looks great on its own.
