The head on this sceptered amethyst crystal is fat and large, and dwarfs the thin stem that it grew over. The crystal's sides are elestial, with hoppered faces, and the amethyst is a dark purple, showing up as phantoms inside the scepter head. This is a dramatic and very colorful specimen from a new find in 2015.
