Inside this clear quartz crystal is a sharp, colorful, purple amethyst phantom that is very easy to spot. The crystal is twinned, in the dauphine habit, so it has two distinct terminations. The crystal is nearly complete, and there is some interesting elestial growth near the tip. No damage.
