This is an hourglass amethyst crystals from Morocco, doubly terminated and with nicely defined color zoning in a shape that resembles an hourglass. The purple is a full-bodied purple color, and the crystal shows good clarity. The chisel-shaped terminations are nearly pristine, and the crystal is totally transparent, very sharp, and has good luster.
