The orpiment on this matrix specimen has a brilliant wet-look luster, with translucent crystals that are bright orange to dull orange in color. The orpiment is crystallized in a complex habit, with many sub-parallel faces. This is a showy example of the world-class crystals which came out of the Twin Creeks Mine in Nevada in 1999-2000. There is no damage to this fine miniature specimen.
