It is a remarkable and highly aesthetic specimen of this scintillating variety of malachite, also known as silky malachite. The malachite is a super-saturated, bright electric green color and sparkles with a high luster. The shiny faces are made up of thousands and thousands of fine, fibrous, radiating acicular crystals. Where these are terminated, the tips form dark green near-botryoidal surfaces with good luster. This is a highly aesthetic and very fine quality malachite specimen with no distracting damage.
