Here is an old-time specimen of purplish-pink lepidolite on blades of white spodumene. Some sources identify the lepidolite as lithian (rose) muscovite, but the fine grained structure suggests it is probably lepidolite (it has not been tested). The color of the lepidolite is especially rich and intense, and is rare for the species. The mine has been closed to collecting for many years, and the dumps have been heavily picked over, so good specimens are hard to find.
