Here's a breathtaking stalactite specimen of copal amber which came from the world-famous diggings in Madagascar. It's a large frozen stalactite drip of glowing golden yellow petrified tree sap, with perfectly preserved insects that were trapped in the amber when it was still raw pitch dripping from a tree some 25 million years ago.  Included are dozens of gnats, and other winged insects.
