7.3" GRAPE AGATE Vivid Violet Chalcedony Balls On All Sides Indonesia for sale

Fresh from a prolific occurrence on the island of Sulawesi comes this large, fish-shaped specimen of grape chalcedony. The specimens from this locality are found in clay-filled hydrothermally generated seams and vugs. These are floater masses of silica which are finely bubbly all over, just like bunches of tiny grapes up to almost 5 mm. This piece is colored a rich medium purple, and has a shiny resinous luster. There is no damage and there are no contact points.
