A few years ago, a group of collector-dealers rehabilitated a shaft at the Greenlaws Mine and have recovered some large deep purple crystals. This is a superb specimen of this new material, which bears a strong resemblance to the Purple Pocket at the nearby Rogerley Mine. The crystals on the piece are quite large -  up to 1.5" wide, and they are very sharp and have a glassy luster, with razor sharp edges and corners that really stand out. The crystals are partly gemmy, with only some gas bubble inclusions.  There is no damage on this fine example of this new material.
