3.5" SnowWhite GOOSECREEKITE Crystals on Glittering Quartz Matrix India for sale
Availability: In Stock
Goosecreekite, one of the rarest members of the zeolite family, is named for the type locality, the New Goose Creek Mine in Leesburg, VA, where it occurred in crystals up to about 3 mm. In the 300-foot thick volcanic flows of India, the crystals reach much larger sizes, where they form as golf-ball like spherical aggregates and as clusters of distinct crystals. This specimen comes from Mahodari, Nashik District, Maharashtra, India. I found this superb specimen in the display of one of the many Indian dealers who were set up at the Tucson Gem, Rock and Fossil Show.
