This specimen of green quartz (prase) comes from Serifos Island in Greece. The exquisite, mossy sage green color is the result of actinolite inclusions (not hedenbergite as was formerly thought). The actinolite caused growth interference with the developing quartz crystals, resulting in tessin habit crystals with tapering sides that come to sharp points. There is no damage to this fine cluster.
