Copper-silver "halfbreeds" are a physical mixture of native silver and native copper. They form crystallized specimens at low-moderate temperatures because of the insolubility of copper and silver. This specimen has nice little dots of silver, formed on both sides of a floater piece of vein copper. The piece comes from the dumps of the Quincy Mine, which stopped operating in 1970s.
