1.6" Rare CUBIC MAGNETITE Lustrous Sharp Metallic Crystals ZCA Mine NY for sale

Here is a superb specimen of cubic magnetite from the now famous find in 1993-4 at the Z.C.A. #4 Mine in Balmat, New York. The crystals on this specimen are sharp, shiny, dark metallic gray cubes, with smooth faces and razor-sharp edges. There are minor traces of talc on the specimen as well. Now the mine is closed, so there is virtually no chance that any more of these amazing crystals will come to light. This is a top-quality example of the exceptional material from this unique, one-time find.
