This is a large rainbow-filled Herkimer diamond crystal from the HIckory HIll Diamond Mine.  It is double terminated and nicely shaped, with a large six-sided barrel in the middle and sharp terminations on both ends.  Most of the crystal is gem clear and free of inclusions, but the main feature are the brightly colorful rainbows which fill the crystal with all colors of the rainbow.
