Description
Here's a very choice, gem-clear TIBETAN QUARTZ crystal cluster which was mined in the Himalayan Mountains of Tibet. Crystals from this locality are reportedly carried out in a sack on the back of a yak. I purchased this fine specimen at the Tucson Gem Rock and Mineral Show this year from one of the wholesale dealers who set up at one of the hotel shows on the I-10.

Tibetan quartz crystals of this brilliant clarity are highly unusual. This cluster of sharp, terminated crystals with bits of characteristic black anthraxolite is particularly transparent, bright and lustrous. The entire group is sharply crystallized, with bright rainbows beneath the surface. The main crystal features a sharp Lemurian Seed termination with only tiny abrasions on the tips.
