4" Dark Green MALACHITE PSEUDO AZURITE Sharp Crystals Milpillas Mexico for sale

This fine specimen features very sharp malachite replacement pseudomorphs after azurite crystals to about 1". The malachite is a rich, dark, forest green, with a velvety surface formed of microscopic crystals. The azurite appears to have been completely replaced, and the malachite retains the precise shape of the azurite crystals. This fine specimen came out of the Milpillas Mine several years ago, and the zone it came from is now completely mined out, so there won't be any more.
This fine specimen features very sharp MALCHITE PSEUDOMORPHS AFTER AZURITE crystals that came out of the Milpillas Mine, Milpillas, Mexico. This is a recent discovery, recently brought to earth at the Milpillas Mine, and brought back to the USA for sale at the Tucson Gem, Rock & Mineral Show. A dealer friend had the best selection in town of this fine material for sale, and we had the chance to buy some of his choicest specimens. This is a replacement pseudomorph, a special kind of crystal where the original crystal of azurite has been completely replaced (a molecule at a time) by malachite, thus preserving the exact crystal form of the original azurite crystals.
